(de)construct CNEWA benefit

Insight Artspace proudly partners with CNEWA (a papal agency for humanitarian and pastoral support) in presenting “(de)construct” a private exhibition to support Ukraine. This exhibition is part of our “art and purpose” series which features our female artists’ passion and commitment to helping others through their art.

InSight Artspace is proud to present a special pop up show to support the Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) and their ongoing efforts in Ukraine. (de) construct is a private pop-up exhibit which reminds us of the necessity to continue helping people to cope with shocks and stresses but also to reconstruct their environment. “The Russians want to erase our country on the world map including our identity”. Words by a Ukrainian refugee. A percentage of art sales will be onated to CNEWA. The works by 6 international women artists including two Ukrainians will be on view. The artists Christina Saj, Albina Yaloza, Esther Rosa, Elaine Jeffrey, Shreya Mehta, and Béatrice Bizot will share their inner thoughts about the consequences of a war through their work.

“The human being is a central element in my work, allowing us to see the fragile balance of our intimate constructions as well as those of the world around us.” Béatrice Bizot, sculptor.

Private opening (by invitation only) on Thursday, October 13, 2022. The exhibition will be opened to the public on October 14 and 15, 2022 from 11a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment till October 30, 2022.
