I am delighted to announce the recognition of my painting, Holy Family, which has been recognized with an Honorable Mention at the prestigious Creche Festival Houston. This exquisite artwork, created using a Mixed Media technique with acrylic on a 12 x 12 panel, exemplifies my lifelong work creating contemporary icons. As an award-winning artist, I am humbled and grateful for this acknowledgment, and I look forward to sharing more of my acclaimed artworks in the future.
Creche Festival Houston is an all-volunteer organized and executed project which began in 2021 to host an annual display of creche (nativity) art. A different theme is executed each year. This year’s exhibition, Hands of the People, includes an exhibition of contemporary creche art juried by The Reverend Johann Roten, S.M., of the International Marian Research Institute, University of Dayton.
